After a release of long list of nominees for man booker prize in July this year, a short list for the prize was released early morning on 10^th September 2013. The short list for this year is as given.

i)                   A tale for the time being by Ruth Ozeki.

ii)                Harvest- by Jim Carce.

iii)              The lowland- by Jhumpa Lahiri.

iv)              The Luminaries- by Eleanor Catton.

v)                The Testament of Mary- Colm Tobin.

vi)              We Need New Names-Noviolet Bulawayo.

The winner of Man Booker Prize 2013 will be announced on 15^th October 2013. The judges for this year’s selection board are,

i)                   Robert Macfarlane-chairman

ii)                Robert Douglas Fairhurst- Judge

iii)              Natalie Haynes- Judge

iv)              Martha Kearney- Judge

v)                Staurt Kelly- Judge

For 2015 Man Booker Prize the neco panel of judge on selection board has been declared the judge’s panel are,
